Michael Fabber
Title: Assistant Coach
Year: Fourth

The 2018-19 season marks Michael Fabber’s fourth season as an assistant coach on Dean Burrows’ staff. Prior to joining the college ranks, Fabber was the head coach at Indian River High School (Dagsboro, Del.) for the past three years.

Fabber wasted no time in turning around a program that finished with a record of 0-17 in the year prior to his arrival and leading them to a DIAA Boys’ Basketball State Tournament berth in just his second year. Prior to his time at Indian River, Fabber was the head coach at Campus Community School (Dover, Del.) for five years and guided his team to two DIAA Boys’ Basketball State Tournament berths (2009 and 2012) which also happened to be the school’s final year of fielding athletics.

Campus’ two boys’ basketball state tournament appearances were the only state tournament appearances in the school’s history. Fabber served as an assistant coach for five years at schools in PA and MD prior to getting the opportunity to guide his own program.

Originally from Queens, NY, Fabber is the proud father to his daughter Briana and he and his wife Morgan reside in Lewes, DE.
