Wesley Soccer Teams Hold Clinic at Delaware Union Facility

DOVER, Del. - Members of the Wesley College Men's Soccer team and the Wesley College Women's Soccer team gathered at the Delaware Union Soccer Park in Dover on Friday, April 9, volunteering their time to hold a clinic for local youth soccer player.

The two teams set up, demonstrated, and conducted a variety of skills stations and participated in several small-sided games with the youngsters and members of the Delaware Union soccer club.

"It is wonderful to see the lads give back to the community, " commented Wesley Men's Soccer Head Coach Clark, "I love to see the smiles on the young player's faces. Hopefully we can inspire them to both enjoy the sport as well as improve their technique."

The Wolverines extended an invitation to all of the attendants and their families to come out to Wesley's home games this fall. "I believe we do have a responsibility to entertain as well as to teach and promote the sport," said Coach Clark, "And therefore we hope to further develop our relationship with the Delaware Union and the Dover soccer community."

The Wolverines host their soccer summer camp this June 20-23. For more information on Wesley's summer soccer camps, click here.
