DOVER, Del. – Senior sprinter DaJahn Lowery and sophomore defender Naomi Pitts-Reynolds were named Wesley Wolverines of the Week on Monday.
Lowery earned two medals at the Capital Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. Lowery placed second in the 100-meter dash (6.92) and took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.50 seconds. As a team, the Wolverine men's track & field team finished third at the conference meet.
Pitts-Reynolds scored the game-winning goal with 1:25 remaining in the game to propel the Wolverines over the Hood Blazers 13-12 in the season opener on Saturday. Pitts-Reynolds also caused two turnovers and picked up a ground ball in the win.
The Wolverine track & field teams and the women's lacrosse team will be back in action on Saturday. The track & field team will compete in the Last Chance Meet at George Mason University while the women's lacrosse team will hit the road to face off against Gwynedd Mercy at 1 p.m.
