DOVER, Del. – Senior track athlete Elizsha Streeter and junior infielder Chris Seibert were named Wesley Wolverines of the Week for April 11.
Seibert belted three home runs with seven RBIs in a 3-0 week for the Wolverines. Seibert hit .385 (5-for-13) at the plate with a slugging percentage of 1.077, knocking in seven RBIs and scoring five times. Seibert came up big in game two of a doubleheader sweep over previous-conference-unbeaten Christopher Newport, knocking a pair of two-run homers in the nightcap. Seibert leads the CAC with 45 RBIs and is second in batting average (.421) and slugging percentage (.701).
Streeter recorded three top-10 performances at the Delaware Open on Saturday. Streeter placed third in the 200-meters (25.97), sixth in the 400-meters (59.88) and ninth in the 100-meters (12.64). Streeter holds the top time in the 200-meter dash in the Mideast Region, with a time of 25.31 seconds from the Danny Curran Invitational on March 31.
