Wesley represented on CSAC/PAC 25th Anniversary Teams

ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) announced the 25th Anniversary Teams in honor of the 25 years since the founding of the conference in 1992-93 as the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).

Considering all student-athletes who competed in conference-sponsored sports in the original PAC 1992-2008 and the current CSAC, the top 25 student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport were identified using a point system based on recognition earned as a member of the conference from all-conference awards in addition to major end of season awards such as Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

A total of 458 PAC/CSAC student-athletes were recognized on the All-Anniversary Teams. All former and current core member institutions had at least one representative on the All-Anniversary Teams.

Wesley, which left the PAC in 2006, had 23 representatives on the All-Anniversary Teams. The men's golf team led the way with 10 representatives recognized while Nicky Benton '01 was honored on three separate teams, earning spots on the field hockey, women's basketball and softball teams. Nine Wesley College Athletic Hall of Famers made the All-Anniversary Team.

All-Anniversary teams in some sports have more than 25 honorees, due to ties in points. For Track and Field, only 15 honorees were selected as the CSAC has only sponsored the sport for two years. All-Anniversary Team recipients shall be awarded commemorative coins depicting the special 25th Anniversary logo.
