Bats go cold as baseball is toppled by Salisbury

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College baseball team dropped a 14-0 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) contest to the Salisbury Sea Gulls at home on Tuesday.

Wesley could only get two hits in against the Salisbury pitching. Cody Dmiterchik and William Foster both collected infield singles to third base. Dmiterchik, Will Barton, Chris Bramble each reached base on walks while Chris Seibert was hit by a pitch in the third inning.

Justin Meekins had three hits and scored three times for Salisbury, including a leadoff home run in the sixth inning.

The Wolverines will look to rebound when they head to Southern Maryland on Thursday when they take on the St. Mary's Seahawks in CAC action. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
