Baseball upended by No. 15 Oswego

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College baseball team were upended by the 15th-ranked Oswego State Lakers, 22-4 at home Sunday.

After being held scoreless through the first two innings, an error by Oswego State brought home William Musser and Alexander Weber to put Wesley's first runs on the board

In the bottom on the fourth, DaQuan Jefferson belted a two-run double to right field that scored Musser and Weber.

Musser, Weber, Cory Joines and Jason Boc all drew walks in the loss. John Joines tallied Wesley's other hit on the afternoon.

Mike Dellicarri led the Lakers bringing home a game-high four runners.

Wesley will be back in action when they travel to St. Mary's City, Md. to square off with the St. Mary's Seahawks. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
