Asiedu Named to Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Wesley College linebacker Mike Asiedu (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after his performance in a 28-3 win over North Greenville.

Asiedu made 10 tackles, including eight solos, in the win over the Wolverines' Division II opponent. He had two tackles for loss in the game and also forced and recovered a fumble that led to the go-ahead touchdown.

Earlier in the week, the sophomore was named the Atlantic Central Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

He and the rest of the Wesley College football team travel to Delaware Valley for a 1:00 PM kickoff on September 19.
