Wesley Holds at Number 5

Complete Poll

MINNEAPOLIS - The Wesley College football team remained fifth in the latest Top 25 poll released by D3football.com after 44-19 win over Frostburg State on Homecoming in the ACFC opener for both squads.

There was little change in the poll this week, as all 25 ranked teams played and won.  Mount Union received 22 of the 25 first place votes to remain No. 1 with UW-Whiter garnering the three remaining second place votes on its way to a No. 2 ranking.

Mary Hardin-Baylor and Wheaton (Ill.) once again occupied the other two spots ahead of the Wolverines.

The teams in the top 10 remained the same, but Central and Case Western switched positions with Central moving up to ninth and Case Western easing down a notch.

Wesley, 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in ACFC action, is idle this week before heading to conference rival Apprentice on October 17.
