Wesley Holds Steady in Rankings

Lambert Meadowlands Football Poll
DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College football team held at No. 3 in both the D3football.com and AFCA Top 25 polls and No. 1 in the ECAC Lambert Meadowlands rankings.
The Wolverines remained third in both of the Division III national polls and stayed atop the ECAC® Lambert Meadowlands Division III Poll by FieldTurf Tarkett after a 30-12 win over rival Salisbury. The win clinched Wesley's fifth consecutive conference title.
In the national polls, Mount Union and UW-Whitewater are again the teams ahead of the Wolverines. In the D3football.com rankings, the Purple Raiders tallied 19 of the 25 first place votes, with the Warhawks pulling in the final six. In the AFCA poll, Mount Union received 39 of the 40 first place votes and UW-Whitewater had the final first place vote.
In the Lambert Meadowlands rankings, Wesley tops the poll for Eastern supremacy for the fourth straight week.
Wesley, 8-0 in 2009, hosts Division II Lake Erie College on November 7 at 1:00 PM.
