Wesley Stays Strong in Rankings

ECAC® Lambert Meadowlands Division III Poll by FieldTurf Tarkett

DOVER, Del. - For the fourth straight week, the Wesley College football team is ranked third in both major polls, and is No. 1 in the Lambert Meadowlands rankings for the sixth straight week.

The Wolverines are third in the Division III national polls by the American Football Coaches Association and D3football.com after a come-from-behind 32-28 win over the NAIA's No. 19 team, Ohio Dominican.

In both the D3football.com and AFCA rankings, Mount Union occupies the top spot, with UW-Whitewater checking in at No. 2.

Wesley is atop the ECAC Lambert Meadowlands Poll in Division III, ahead of another 10-0 team, Thomas More. 

The Wolverines, who completed their second undefeated regular season at the Division III level this season, will host North Carolina Wesleyan in the first round of the NCAA Championships on November 21 at noon.
