DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College football team moved up one spot to No. 8 in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 and held steady at No. 7 in the D3football.com poll after a 23-14 win over Salisbury.

While the clash of nationally ranked teams improved Wesley's standing, the Sea Gulls dropped to 15th in the AFCA poll, but remained 11th by D3football.com.

One other team on the Wolverines' 2011 slate is ranked in both polls as Kean checks in at No. 17 in the AFCA balloting and No. 16 in D3football.com's poll.

Wisconsin-Whitewater remained No. 1 in both sets of rankings, followed by Mount Union.

Wesley heads to Newport News, Virginia on November 5 for a clash with the Apprentice School.
