WACO, Texas – Heading into its regular season finale against the Apprentice School on Saturday, November 3, the Wesley College football team remains fifth in both the American Football Coaches Association and Top 25 Poll.  Both the AFCA and website announced their weekly polls on Monday.

The Wolverines round out the top five in both polls while Mount Union and Mary Hardin-Baylor are ranked one and two, respectively in both in publications.  Linfield and St. Thomas are reversed in both polls with the Wildcats ranked third in the Media Poll and fourth in the Coaches Poll.

Wesley (7-1) became the first team in small college football history to play four-straight ranked opponents in the regular season this year.  The Wolverines most recently defeated No. 16 Huntingdon on the road, with the Hawks being the fifth-straight ranked Division III opponent that Wesley faced in 2012.

Kickoff against the Builders is scheduled for 1:00 pm and the Wolverines will honor all of their seniors prior to the game.
