DOVER, Del. – After advancing to its ninth-straight NCAA Second Round Playoff game with a thrilling 29-24 victory at No. 8 Johns Hopkins on Saturday, the 14th-ranked Wesley College football team will host No. 24 Ithaca College at 12 pm on Saturday, November 30.
The Wolverines and Bombers, who are both 9-2 on the year, have never faced each other but have one common opponent this season in Salisbury. Wesley defeated the Sea Gulls at Scott D. Miller Stadium, 30-27 on September 14, while Ithaca beat Salisbury, 24-23, on the road in overtime on November 9.
Ithaca advanced to the Second Round after rallying from a 14 point deficit at home to upend Framingham State, 20-17.
The winner of this matchup will take on the winner of the Mount Union/Wittenburg showdown in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Saturday, December 7.
