DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's Ben Martin's 69-yard touchdown run against MIT last Saturday was named the City of Salem Play of the Week, it was announced by the website on Tuesday afternoon.

During the play, Martin, a sophomore from Galloway, N.J., took a read-option handoff from quarterback Joe Callahan, broke several tackles to avoid a four-yard loss and broke free en route to his fifth touchdown of the season.  Martin's longest scamper of the season gave the Wolverines a 56-0 third quarter lead against the Engineers which finished in a 59-0 shutout.

Martin's game-breaking speed and elusiveness has allowed him to gain 602 yards on just 63 carries this year, good for a 9.6 yard average.

Fourth-ranked Wesley hosts No. 7 Hobart on Saturday, December 6 at 12 pm.  This is the first time since 2010 that the Wolverines have hosted a Quarterfinal Game despite the Navy & White reaching the Elite Eight the last six seasons.

Tickets for the game against the Statemen can be purchased at the gate.  The price of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students while children under the age of two are admitted free.  Fans can also follow the action live on or by tuning in to WDEL 1150 AM
