DOVER, Del. - After another scintillating performance in the Wolverines' 41-0 win over TCNJ, Wesley College Football freshman running back E.J. Lee was named ECAC Rookie of the Week for the Division III South Region.
In just his third game played at Scott D. Miller Stadium Lee averaged 10.5 yards-per-carry, finishing the contest with 15 rushes for 157 yards and three touchdowns. His performance marked the most single-game rushing yards by a Wesley freshman since the 2013 season.
Lee earned the award last week as well, gaining 91 yards and scoring twice. In his past two games combined, Lee has rushed for 248 yards and five touchdowns. The Wolverines will return to action on Saturday, October 15 when they take on Kean University.
