Wolverines to Celebrate Military Appreciation Day

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College Football team will be celebrating Military Appreciation Day when they take on Montclair State University on Saturday, October 29.

Over the years the Wolverines have had a close tie to the military. With the Dover Air Force Base nearby and several past and present Wolverine student-athletes being members of the Armed Services, the Wesley College Football team felt the need to give back to those who have fought for our country.

"We admire those who have served or are serving in the military and appreciate their service," said Head Coach Mike Drass. "We're excited to be able to honor those people."

Any person who presents a valid military ID at the gate will receive free entry to Saturday's game. Those who have served in any branch of the military will be asked to stand and be honored as part of the pre-game announcements as well.
