Lee named D3football.com Preseason All-America

DOVER, Del. – Junior Wesley College running back E.J. Lee was named the 2018 D3football.com Preseason All-America Second Team, as announced by the organization on Monday.

Lee rushed for 1,582 yards with 22 touchdowns and caught 26 passes for 252 yards and two receiving touchdowns in 2017. He ranked fifth in Division III in rushing touchdowns and seventh in rushing yards. Lee was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Offensive Player of the Year, collected First Team All-Eastern College Athletic Conference and D3football.com All-East Region Second Team a season ago.

Lee along with senior safety Cappadonna Miller, senior tight end Andrew Eagle, senior offensive tackle Devin Miller and senior defensive end Vincent Ebron were named captains for the 2018 season.

Earlier in the summer, Lee was selected to the Street and Smith/Sporting News Preseason All-America team.

The ninth-ranked Wesley football team will open the 2018 schedule at home on Friday, Aug. 31 when they face the 17th ranked Delaware Valley Aggies. Kickoff from Drass Field is scheduled for 7 p.m.
