DOVER, Del. – Senior Wesley College wide receiver Corterris Simpson (Sr. Waldorf, Md/Lackey) was named to the 2019 Preseason All-America Third Team as a return specialist, announced by D3football.com.
One of the most dangerous return men in the nation, Simpson was named the NJAC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2018. Simpson lead the NJAC and finished second in Division III in punt return average with 551 yards on 19 punt returns (29.0). He earned NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Sept. 30 and was the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Player of the Month for September.
Wesley selected to win the NJAC this season in the preseason poll and will open the 2019 schedule at Franklin Pierce on Saturday, September 7th, a noon kickoff.
