Wesley Football’s Jon Mullin Signs Professional Contract to Play in Poland

Dover, Del. – Wesley Football's Senior quarterback Jon Mullin signed a professional football contract Thursday, Jan. 30th, with the Bialystok Lowlanders from Bialystok, Poland. The Bayonne, New Jersey native will play for the team starting this March through the seasons end in July.

Jon logged 18 games in a Wesley Wolverines jersey from 2017-2019, which included 144 completions for 1835 yards and 14 touchdowns. He recorded his best game this past season against William Paterson as he completed 23 of 32 attempts for 365 yards and three touchdowns.

When asked why he wants to continue his football career Jon says, "it's another great opportunity to play the game I love. I have played football since I was six years old to now being 21, that's 15 years and I just want to keep going and keep improving".

Jon will continue working on himself mentally and physically before he departs for Poland in February.

Wesley went 10-2 overall and 6-1 in NJAC play. The Wolverines finished second in the New Jersey Athletic Conference and advanced to the second round of NCAA play before falling to Delaware Valley University, 45-10, at home.

The Bialystok Lowlanders are an American Football team, founded in 2006, based in Bialystock, Poland and play in the Liga Futbolu Amerykanskiego. The team won the leagues title in 2018 and made an appearance in the 2019 Championship game.
