    Wesley College senior multi-sport standout Tristin Burris, named last week as the Capital Athletic Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was selected by the CAC Directors of Athletics as the conference’s 2013 NCAA Woman of the Year program candidate.

    Sosthene Kapepula of the football team was named the Wesley College Male Athlete of the Year while field hockey/golf's Madison Leone and five-sport athlete Tristin Burris shared Female Athlete of the Year honors, it was announced at the Annual Senior Honors Banquet held at the Outdoor Amphitheater on campus Wednesday night.

    Wesley College’s Madison Leone has been named a Second Team All-American by WomensFieldHockey.com, as selected by Synapse Sports, it was announced by the website on Monday morning. This is the first time that Leone has been named an All-American.

    Wesley College’s Madison Leone has been named to the 2012 Longstreth / NFHCA Division III All-South Region First Team, it was announced by the field hockey coaches association on Thursday morning.

    Wesley College’s ECAC Field Hockey Quarterfinal matchup against FDU-Florham, which was originally scheduled for today at 2 pm, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Dover area. The game will now be played on Thursday, November 8, at 2 pm at Scott D. Miller Stadium.

    Rachel Joyner converted in the 15th round of a stroke off and Elizabeth Groom stymied Salisbury’s Erica Henderson as the Wesley College field hockey team defeated No. 2 Salisbury University, 4-3 in the Capital Athletic Conference Semifinals on Thursday night at Sea Gull Stadium. The Wolverines (12-8) one-upped the Sea Gulls, 7-6, in the shootout.
