SALISBURY, Md. – Wesley College's field hockey team fell to No. 1 Salisbury, 8-, on Wednesday night at Sea Gull Stadium. The Wolverines now stand at 6-10 overall and 1-4 in the CAC while the Sea Gulls improve to 14-1 on the year and 4-0 in league play.
Salisbury scored four goals in each half with Mallory Elliott notching the hat trick with Salisbury's fifth goal of the game at 47:02.
Three goalkeepers saw time for Wesley, with Sarah Daniels making 11 saves in the first half. Kayla Fromal took over in the second half and stopped three shots before Rebecca Kolenkiewicz made one save in the final 14:49 of regulation.
The Wolverines close out the regular season against York (Pa.) at 1 pm on Saturday, October 25.
