DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College Field Hockey team has been working all season to provide relief to those in need this holiday. After collecting donations during their season, the Wolverines gifted their collection and their time to the A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital.
The donation included activity books, coloring books, art supplies, puzzles, and toys, things to keep the residents of the hospital entertained this holiday season. The resources were collected during the season, when Wesley took on local rival Salisbury. The large donation was taken over to A.I. DuPont Hospital by Wesley Field Hockey seniors Isabella Lucia, Lauren Niezgoda, Allison Perugini, and Morgan Seymour.
Head Coach Tracey Short was thrilled with the dedication and generosity her team showed. "We're always looking for ways to give back to our community," said Short. "It's an extremely rewarding experience for our student-athletes as well."
