No. 9 Salisbury tops field hockey

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wesley College field hockey team dropped a 9-0 decision to the No. 9 ranked Salisbury Sea Gulls in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action on Wednesday.

Emily Wagner and Alexis Howerin each recorded defensive saves for the Wolverines. Bridget Wood tallied 12 saves in the start. Makenzie McIntyre registered five saves while Lauren Berry notched a save in relief of Wood.

Tara Daddio had a hat trick for the Sea Gulls.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Sunday when they face off with the St. Mary's Seahawks. The road CAC contest is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
