Behornar, Berry, Quigley recognized as NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

GILBERT, Ariz. – Wesley College sophomore Natalie Quigley and freshmen Jessica Behornar and Lauren Berry were selected as 2017 Zag Field Hockey / National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholars of Distinction.

The Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

A Business Administration major, Quigley has a cumulative GPA of 3.91 and is the second time that Quigley earned academic honors from the NFHCA. Quigley is a three-sport athlete at Wesley, competing in cross country and women's lacrosse in addition to field hockey. Quigley started all 18 games for the Wolverines on defense and notched a defensive save.

Behornar and Berry each tallied 4.00 GPAs through their freshman fall semester. A Kinesiology and Pre-Professional Occupational Therapy major, Behornar started all 18 games and tallied eight points with three goals and two assists. Berry is an Elementary Education and Special Education major with five appearances in net in 2017.
