Eight Wolverines named to NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad

GILBERT, Ariz. – Eight Wesley College field hockey players were named to the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NHFCA) Division III National Academic Squad, as announced by the association on Thursday.

The Division III National Academic Squad program recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

Sophomore Natalie Quigley and freshmen Jessica Behornar and Lauren Berry were selected as Division III Scholars of Distinction last week for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

Seniors Kelsey Fromal and Margaret Matthews, juniors Katelyn Harding and Kasey Fry and freshman Molly Dromgoole were named to the National Academic Squad. Matthews is a four-time member of the team while Harding is a three-time member of the National Academic Squad.
