Field Hockey earns national academic awards from NFHCA

GILBERT, Ariz. – The Wesley College field hockey team earned the Zag Sports/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Team Award while nine players were named to the National Academic Squad.

The Division III National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2018-19 school year. The Division III National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

Senior Kasey Fry, junior Natalie Quigley, sophomores Jessica Behornar, Lauren Berry, Molly Dromgoole, Katelynn Fuhr and freshmen Samantha Dingus, Kristen Fuhr and Helen Kunzweiler earned spots on the National Academic Squad. Fry is a four-time member of the National Academic Squad.
