How it happened
The Wolverines traveled to Stockton University for a non-conference game on a rainy cold Tuesday night on Oct. 22nd.
The first quarter of the game consisted of back and forth possession. The Wolverines defense proving strong as they faced five corners from Stockton and three shots. Neither team was able to find the net by the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter consisted of the same play with both defenses' holding strong, but both teams went into the half scoreless, 0-0.
The remainder of regulation play the Wolverines put forth powerful efforts on both offense and defense but neither team was able to score, bringing the game into overtime.
However, one minute into overtime Stockton's Kassidy Wentzell dribbled the ball down the left side of the field finding the back of the net to end the game, 0-1.
