Zimmerer Earns CAC Weekly Honor

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College junior golfer Rob Zimmerer (Franklin, N.J./Wallkill Valley) was named the CAC Co-Golfer of the week after his performance last week at the Bent Creek Invitational.

Zimmerer shot a one-over-par 72 to tie for second place and lead the Wolverines to a tie for second in the team standings at the 2009 Bent Creek Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College.

He shares the award with York (Pa.)'s Steve Schmehl, who finished behind Zimmerer at Bent Creek, but led the Spartans to the team title at the Glenmaura National College Invitational over the weekend as well.

The Wolverines are back in action this weekend at the CAC Championships hosted by Stevenson at Piney Branch Golf Club.
