Wesley Eighth at McDaniel

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Wesley College golf team finished eighth at the McDaniel Spring Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club.

Clayton Bunting (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Tech) led the Wolverines with a two-day 157 (80-77) to tie for 11th.  Robert Ehrhardt (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon) tied for 17th with a 160 (77-83).

Matt Lank (Milford, Del./Seaford) shot matching 86s to finish at 172 in a tie for 50th.  Brady Demey (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) finished three strokes behind Lank in 56th place, while Erik Shellenhamer (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) was tied for 57th at 176.

Wesley shot a 36-hole total of 663.

St. John Fisher won the team title with a 625.  The individual title went to Kyle Demshki of NYU via a tiebreaker.  Zach Oyer of Muhlenberg and Swarthmore's Paul Weston matched his two-day total of 150 and tied for second.

The Wolverines are back in action on April 3-4 at the District II Mid-Atlantic Championships.
