Wesley, Bunting Seventh After First Round

RISING SUN, Md. - The Wesley College golf team is tied for seventh after the first round of the Goldey Beacom Fall Classic at The Chesapeake Club in Rising Sun, Maryland.

Clayton Bunting (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Tech) led the Wolverines on the first 18 at the par 71, 6,749 yard course with a 76 to tie for seventh place.

Robert Ehrhardt (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon) is tied for 21st after shooting an 80 in the first round.  Corey Jefferson (Wilmington, Del./Archmere) turned in the best round of the fall with an 82 and sits tied for 28th.  Cody Pestun (Damascus, Md./Damascus) shot an 87 and is tied for 43rd.  DJ Keckler (Fallston, Md./Fallston) rounded out the Wesley contingent with a 104 and is in 49th place.

Adelphi leads the team scoring thanks in part to Frank Amizicia, who leads the field after shooting a 72. 

Play concludes with the second round on October 18.
