Ehrhardt Wins Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Wesley College's Robert Ehrhardt shot a 4-under 67 in the second round to help win the individual title at the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial at the par 71, 6,751 yard Williamsburg Club on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the second career tournament victory for Ehrhardt, who took home 2012 Capital Athletic Conference Golfer of the Year honors after winning the 2012 CAC Tournament.

A senior from Mechanicsville, Md., Ehrhardt carded a 67 for the second time this season to rank second in CAC single-round history.  His two-day total of 140 (-2) shatters the existing CAC record for a 36-hole tournament by three strokes.

Ehrhardt bested Ben Hunter of the host Apprentice School by one stroke after coming into the day four strokes behind Hunter.

Also turning in cards for Wesley were Clayton Bunting, who finished tenth with a 79-76-155 (+13) and Mason Mendoza, who placed 14th with an 81-75-156 (+14).

The Wolverines wrap up regular season play when they host the CAC Championships on April 27-28 at Wild Quail G.C.
