Golf Sits 6th at CAC’s After 1st Round

HARRISBURG, Pa. – After 18 holes, the Wesley College golf team sits sixth out of seven teams at the 2014 Capital Athletic Conference Championship held at the Par 72, 6,700 yard Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.  The Wolverines shot a total of 353, 63 strokes ahead of seventh place New Jersey City University and 26 shots behind William Paterson in fifth.

Sophomore Dylan Chessher fired a season-best 80 to lead Wesley and sits in a tie for 18th.  Just two strokes behind, freshman Ricky Mulloy shot an 82 and is tied for 21st.

Also turning in cards for the Navy & White was Ryan Strain (94) and Cole Messick (97).

The CAC Championship culminates on Saturday, April 19.
