Golf Takes 6th at CAC Championship

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Wesley College golf team finished sixth of seven teams at the 2014 Capital Athletic Conference Championships held on Friday-Saturday at the Par 72, 6,700 yard Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.  Christopher Newport (605) was victorious, followed by Penn State Harrisburg (618), York (621), Marymount (653), William Paterson (664), the Wolverines (716) and New Jersey City (839).

Sophomore Dylan Chessher led Wesley by shooting a two-day 161 (80-81) to finish 16th of 35 golfers.  Freshman Ricky Mulloy placed 20th overall with a 165 (82-83).

Also turning in cards for the Wolverines were sophomores Cole Messick (97-93-190) to finish 27th and Ryan Strain (94-106-200), good for 29th overall.

Christopher Newport's Jonathan Howard won the tournament with a two-over 146 (71-75).
