ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Wesley College Men's Golf team finished ninth over the weekend at the McDaniel Spring Invitational hosted by McDaniel College at The Bridges Golf Course in Abbottstown, Pa.
The Wolverines finished with a two-day score of 660, carding a 335 on day one and cutting 10 strokes on day two to finish with a 325. Dylan Chessher finished as the Wolverines' top golfer on the weekend, scoring an 83 on day one and a 78 on day two for a 161. Tyler Spielberger carded a two-day total of 166, followed closely by Ricky Mulloy's 168. Matt Maskell put up a 171 while Mike Piccirillo had the best improvement from day one to day two. Piccirillo hit a 90 on the first day of competition, but shaved eight strokes on day two to turn in an 82.
Wesley will continue to gear up this spring as they prepare for the Capital Athletic Conference Championships. The team will tee off again on Tuesday, April 5 at Moravian.
