Chessher Leads Wolverines to Third Place Finish in Revolutionary Classic

ELKTON, Md. - The Wesley College Golf team used a first place finish from senior Dylan Chessher to earn a third place team finish in the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic hosted by Ursinus College at the Patriots Glen National Golf Club.

Chessher fired off a low-round 69 (-3) on the first day and followed with a 71 (-1) on day two to finish at an overall 140 (-4) to take first place by 11 strokes, blowing away the competition. Sean Creel tied for second place with a 76-75-151 while Tyler Spielberger tied for eighth overall with a 76-79-155. Kevin Polk and Josh Covey rounded out the Wesley top five with a 175 and a 179.

NCAA Division II competitor Chestnut Hill College earned the first place team finish. Wesley was tied with them after day one with a 309, but finished five strokes behind CHC on day two and took third.

Wesley will host the Andrew Geier Memorial Tournament on Saturday, October 22 at Wild Quail Golf Course.
