Wolverines compete at Glenn Heath Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Wesley College men's golf team tuned up for the conference championships this weekend by competing in the two-day Glenn Heath Invitational at Williamsburg Country Club.

Tyler Spielberger led the Wolverines at the tournament, finishing in a tie for 12th place with a two-day total of 154.

Dylan Chessher shot a 156 to tie for 22nd place. Eric Speidel (167), Matt Maskell (183) and Kevin Polk (195) rounded out the Wolverines at the tournament.

As a team, the Wolverines finished 12th in the 14-team field with a 660. Christopher Newport picked up the team title shooting a 587.

The three-day Capital Athletic Conference Championships will start on Friday, April 14 at Bay Creek Resort in Cape Charles, Va.
