Wesley ties for sixth at Swathmore/Neumann Fall invitational

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Wesley College men's golf team opened their 2017-18 season on Sunday at the Swathmore/Neumann Fall Invitational at Rock Manor Golf Club.

As a team, the Wolverines finished in a tie for sixth place with a score of 327. Swathmore won their home meet with a score of 297.

Tyler Spielberger paced the Wolverines carding a 77 to finish in a four-way tie for eighth place. Josh Covey and Sean Creel tied for 17th place, shooting an 80 respectively. Kevin Polk rounded out the Wesley golfers with a 90.

The Wolverines will be back out on the course on Monday, Sept. 25 when they take part in the Ursinus Fall Invitational at Raven's Claw Golf Club in Sanatoga, Pa.
