Men's Golf places third at Scotland Run Shootout

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. – The Wesley College men's golf team placed third out of 13 teams at the Scotland Run Shootout on Saturday, hosted by Arcadia University.

As a team, Wesley totaled 323. Penn State – Berks won the team title with a 310.

Tyler Spielberger and Sean Creel paced the Wolverines by finishing in a tie for ninth place. Both golfers shot a 78, just five strokes behind the leader.

Ricky Mulloy shot an 83 to finish in a tie for 22nd place. Josh Covey ended the tournament a shot behind Mulloy with an 84, tying for 25th place. Kevin Polk tied for 41st place at the invitational with an 87.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Wednesday when they take part in the Moravian Spring Invitational at the Southmoore Golf Course in Bath, Pa.
