Simet cards career-low at Moravian Spring Invitational

BATH, Pa. – The Wesley College golf team took part in the Moravian Spring Invitational on Thursday at the Southmoore Golf Course in Bath, Pa.

Cody Simet carded a seven-over 78 to lead the Wesley golfers and finish in a tie for 16th place. It is the first time in Simet's career that he shot in the 70's.

Kevin Polk finished in 37th place with an 84 while John Riggins and Josh Covey rounded out the Wesley golfers with an 86 and 87 respectively.

Wesley finished in eighth place in the 12-team field with a team score of 335. Gettysburg won the invitational with a combined score of 285.

Wesley will be back in action on Tuesday when they compete in the Jefferson Spring Invitational at The ACE Club.
