Men's Hoops Enters National Rankings At 24 Top 25 Poll

DOVER, Del. –
For the first time in program-history, the Wesley College men's basketball team is ranked in the Top 25 Poll.  The Wolverines (16-4, 6-1 CAC) enter the poll ranked 24th in the Nation.

Winners of 11 straight games, which ties a school-record, and 13 of its last 14, Wesley returns to the hardwood on Wednesday, January 30, when it travels to take on No. 14 St. Mary's (Md.) at 8 pm.  The Wolverines, who hold the third-longest active win streak in the Nation, defeated the Seahawks, 68-54, on January 12 at Wentworth Gymnasium but have never won at St. Mary's.

Rochester (18-0), one of only two undefeated teams in NCAA Division III, tops the poll and is followed by St. Thomas (18-1), Whitworth (18-1), WPI (19-0) and UW-Stevens Point (18-2). Ranked just ahead of Wesley is Wheaton (15-4) at No. 20, followed by Washington University (14-4), Transylvania (15-4), and Rose-Hulman (17-2). Brandeis (14-4) dropped five spots but is ranked No. 25.
