Langan Earns All-Region Honors

DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's David Langan has been named a First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection, it was announced by the website late Sunday night.  This is the first All-Region honor that Langan has received in his career.

A senior center from Sayreville, N.J., Langan was joined on the first team by Cabrini's Aaron Walton-Moss, Ross Danzig of Scranton, Dickinson's Adam Honig, and Brian Parker of Alvernia, who the Wolverines defeated in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

In his final collegiate season, Langan, who was also named the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year, led the CAC in rebounding (10.9), field goal percentage (62.6%), double-doubles (15) and blocks (1.9) while also ranking third with 16.8 points per game.  Langan, who was also a two-time First Team All-Conference selection, will graduate as the program's all-time leader with 831 rebounds while ranking ninth in points (1,100), second in field goal percentage (57.5%) and third in blocks (124).

Langan led Wesley College (23-4) to its finest season in its history with its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, a program-record 23 wins and a 12-game winning streak.  The Wolverines entered the Top 25 Poll in Week 2 at what was then a program-high 17th, but Wesley did not stop there, reaching as high as sixth in the National Poll.
