YORK, Pa. - The Wesley College Men's Basketball team was represented for the second straight year on the All-Conference Teams with senior forward Wayne Lennon earning his second straight All-Conference nod
The Capital Athletic Conference announced their All-Conference teams on Monday afternoon with Lennon representing the Wolverines as a member of the All-CAC Second Team for the second consecutive season.
Lennon finished his final season at Wesley averaging 11.9 points per game and a league-leading 8.5 rebounds per game. He finished third in the conference with 55 steals and tied for eighth in the CAC with 29 blocks on the year. His biggest game this season came in an 89-80 victory over Marymount. Lennon put up 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting and pulled down eight boards to secure the Wesley victory. The senior led the team to their seventh straight CAC Tournament appearance.
Lennon graduates from Wesley just shy of 1,000 points, scoring 973 in four years with the Wolverines, good for 14th all-time in program history. Lennon's 683 career rebounds place him fourth in program history. He ranks eighth in Wesley lore with 209 assists, fourth in program history with 191 steals and sixth in career blocks with 93.
