Second Half Run Fuels Wolverines Victory

DOVER DE- A late second half run fueled the run that lead the Wesley College Wolverines Men's Basketball team to beat the St. Mary's (Md.) Seahawks at Wentworth Gymnasium. Sophomore Evan Anderson ignited the flame by scoring 13 of his game high 24 points in the half. Helping the Wolverines to outscore the Seahawks 37-26 in the second half. 

Jordan Johnson provided a spark for the Wolverines off the bench scoring 11 points, while knocking down 4 of his 6 attempted shots. Brian Cameron and J.W Lawson each helped the Wolverines by adding 12 and 11 points apiece. Rasahn Brinkley dominated the glass by notching a game high 10 rebounds.

The Seahawks were led by the sharpshooting Matt Ayoub who drained 4 shots from behind the arc, and finished with 14 points. Ochae Bynum chipped in 14 points off the bench, while Tre Mouton finished with 10 points on the day.

The Wolverines finish up their home stand at Wentworth Wednesday January 11th as they take on CAC foe PSU Harrisburg at 8pm.
