Men’s basketball drops road game to Southern Virginia

BUENA VISTA, Va. – The Wesley College men's basketball team dropped a 93-63 decision to the Southern Virginia Knights on Saturday in a road Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) contest on Saturday.

The Wolverines were led by a solid effort off the bench by Mychal Stefanides and Brandon Lewis. Stefanides paced the Wolverines with 16 points, three steals and three rebounds. Lewis tallied 12 points and four rebounds.

Paul Clemons notched nine points and five rebounds off the bench. Brian Cameron recorded seven points.

Jaron Anderson had 20 points for the Knights.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Sunday when they head down to Newport News, Va. when they take on the nationally-ranked Christopher Newport Captains. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
