Cameron earns CAC Player of the Week honors

FREDERICKSBURG, Va.- Wesley College sophomore guard Brian Cameron was named Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.

Cameron registered a pair of double-doubles, averaging 22.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per contest, and hitting a game-winning three-pointer from near halfcourt in a 2-0 week for the Wolverines. Cameron opened the week with 29 points, 10 boards, six assists and three steals in a 72-65 victory at Marymount on Wednesday. He followed that up with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 68-66 win against Mary Washington, including hitting the game-winning three-pointer as time expired.

Cameron leads the CAC in scoring and three-point field goal percentage. He averages 21.1 points per game and hits three-pointers at a 47 percent rate.
