DANBURY, Conn. – Wesley College sophomore guard Brian Cameron collected Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the second time this season on Tuesday.
Cameron registered a pair of double-doubles, averaging 22.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per contest, and hitting a game-winning three-pointer from near halfcourt in a 2-0 week for the Wolverines. Cameron opened the week with 29 points, 10 boards, six assists and three steals in a 72-65 victory at Marymount on Wednesday. He followed that up with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 68-66 win against Mary Washington, including hitting the game-winning three-pointer as time expired.
This is the second award this week Cameron has earned after receiving his second Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week award of the season on Monday.
