LANCASTER, Pa. – For the third time this season, Wesley College junior guard Brian Cameron was named the Atlantic East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. The award was announced by the conference on Monday.
For the third consecutive week, Cameron averaged 30 or more points per game. Cameron averaged 30.0 points per game with 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. He shot 53.3 percent (16-30) from the field, went 6-for-10 from three and 22-for-24 in free throws.
In Wesley's 94-68 win over Eastern on Thursday, Cameron eclipsed the 30-point mark for the third time this season, scoring a game-high 31 points.
Cameron continues to lead the Atlantic East in scoring but has now entered the top-five in Division III in points per game. He sits at fourth in the nation, averaging 25.6 points per game. He ranks fifth in the Atlantic East in rebounding, pulling down 7.2 boards per contest.
