LANCASTER, Pa. – For the second consecutive week and fifth time this season, Wesley College junior guard Brian Cameron earned the Atlantic East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week award.
Cameron extended his streak of 30-plus point scoring games to three with a pair of high-scoring performances during Wesley's 2-0 week with wins over Cabrini and Gwynedd Mercy. Cameron averaged 32.5 points per game with eight rebounds and five assists in two games. From the field, Cameron was 20-of-29 shooting, including going 5-for-8 from three. He was also 20-of-25 in free-throw attempts.
During the second half of Wesley's win on Saturday over conference-leading Gwynedd Mercy, Cameron was a perfect 10-for-10 from the field, 3-of-3 from beyond the arc and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Cameron continues to lead the Atlantic East in scoring and has moved back up to the fourth spot in the nation in scoring, averaging 26.2 points per game.
