Men’s Basketball snaps three-game win streak at Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wesley College men's basketball team faced the Marymount Saints in an Atlantic East Conference matchup and fell short 67-47 on Wednesday.  

Brian Cameron tallied a team-high 11 points. Cameron drained three 3-pointers, hauled in five rebounds and dished out an assist. Evan Anderson joined Cameron in scoring double-digits with 10 points of his own. Anderson shot 5-of-7 from the free-throw line, grabbed four boards and handed out a pair of assists.

Derick Charles added eight points and five rebounds in the loss. Terrence Braxton and Tolu Babalola each scored five points. Braxton also recorded four rebounds and an assist. Tyrone Craven registered four rebounds and a pair of assists.

Ryan Albert led Marymount with a game-best 18 points.

Wesley (12-12, 6-5 Atlantic East) will wrap up the regular season portion of their schedule on Saturday, Feb.  16 when they host the Neumann Knights. Saturday's Atlantic East Conference contest is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Before the game, Wesley will honor senior members Evan Anderson, Christian Chaney and Tyrone Craven.
